(written in Japanese language)

Yoshio ASANO

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to compare the concept of gDialogue methodh proposed by Asano with that of the traditional theory of counseling.

The principle of gDialogue methodh is gBefore telling your own thoughts and feelings, confirm in your own words the point the speaker wants to say.h

This method suggests classifying all responses in verbal communications into gconfirmative responseh and greactive response.h

These new simple concepts and skills are effective in understanding the theory and skills of counseling. gConfirmative responseh decreases weak points of greflection of feelingsh and grepeating mechanically.h

And the traditional classification of counselor's responses is simplified by the new classification.

Key Words:

dialogue method, confirmative response, reactive response, counseling, empathy
