The Psychological Effect of Confirmative Response in Dialogue

(written in Japanese language)

ASANO Yoshio
(Institute of Dialogue Method)

AbstractF

Misunderstanding in a dialogue causes many troubles among personal relationships.

Asano proposes the gdialogue methodh which contains a simple gconfirmation skill.h This skill is effective to prevent misunderstanding and to increase rapport.

In addition to the skill, the gdialogue methodh suggests classifying all responses into gconfirmative typeh and greactive type.h

These new concepts are useful to understand the theory of the gdialogue methodh and to acquire gconfirmation skill.h

This study measured the gfeelingh that the two types of responses gave to speakers.

The results suggest that the feeling of hconfirmative responseh is better and the influence of various factors is less than greactive response.h
